Harvard Square

One Mifflin Place is one of the few Class A buildings within Harvard Square. It is also a relatively new complex containing the most recent technology. This prestigious address is convenient for Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Charles River. Harvard and MIT provide around 20,000 jobs and, because of their presence, Cambridge has developed into a center for non-profit groups and think-tanks such as the National Bureau of Economic Research, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and One Laptop per Child. Hi-tech companies are among the largest employers. Three of the world's best known have offices in Cambridge, and the New England head offices of media companies are also here. On the outskirts of Boston, Cambridge offers great access to the city's universities, a global finance market and a range of strong industries including tourism, publishing, medicine and biotechnology.
